TOM HAGEN REMIX CONTEST 2022
Greetings to all of you!
The Destroy Team is happy to announce that we start a new remix contest in collaboration with the marvelous Tom Hagen & Jessie Cherry! Take part and get a chance to win a bunch of valuable and incredibly useful prizes (check out the info below)!
We’ve got two tracks for our competition:

When I close my eyes
Feel free to choose any between them!
The rules are simple:

Create an amazing remix of one of the songs above.

Vocal tracks must be in your remix.
-
Show all your creativity by changing anything else: add crazy arrangements, totally switch the genre, vary tempo or tune - total freedom for your imagination!

Subscribe on our sponsors social media and newsletters (see the list below).

Use one UJAM Finisher plugin (if you do not own one, just use a trial).

Use one of MNTRA free libraries.

Use one of Soundpaint’s free libraries.

Please only submit your remix once, multi-submissions will automatically be excluded from the contest.

How to take part in contest:

Download multitracks from the link below

Remix the song.
-
Render your track to a 320kb/s mp3 file. Make sure the file name includes your first- and last name, e.g. “John Doe – Name-of-the-song (remix).mp3”

Send your remix to: DESTROYTEAM.NOISEFACTORY@GMAIL.COM

You can upload your track to Youtube, Soundcloud or another streaming platforms (do not distribute or sell them) of your choice and use the Tag #TomHagenRemixContest in the description.

It’s not a loudness competition so from -14 to -9 LUFS should be enough. Otherwise tracks will be aligned to the pointed level.
There are two things that will be judged by the Destroy Team and Tom Hagen: creativity and overall sound!

The Destroy Team's Noise Factory - is an association of young music nerds that have made a platform for all the people who can’t live without making music! Our main goal is to help musicians be more creative, to widen their music horizons, to inspire them to be the best versions of themselves! We deliver mixing and remixing contests where participants can show all their skills, passion and potential. We support creative brains and souls with an opportunity to work with high class sources. Moreover we encourage them to do their best as the winners get real prizes that will boost their production level for sure! Great plugins, sample packs, libraries, impulse responses etc. are waiting for their champions! We don’t care about your age, gender, experience, nationality or religion. We care just about music! Because music is our passion and we want to share this passion with all the world!
Fabrice Wilkin aka Tom Hagen has been passionate about electronic music since the age of 12. He belongs to that generation which grew up in the 90s at a time when electronic music was born. «The Sound of C» by Belgian band Confetti's (1988), a hit that revolutionized his time, was for him a true musical epiphany. Initially influenced by Belgian New Beat, Fabrice broadened his musical horizons by delving into different genres of electronic music. He developed his mixing skills and his own electronic music background by listening to different music productions, from classic electro to deep techno via house, and as a result has been marked by a spectrum of inuences: Vitalic, Umek, Jan Van Biesen, Dave Clarke, Filterheadz, T-Quest, Alter Ego, Sven Väth. Fabrice was particularly taken by Alexander Kowalski's style, whose dark and powerful beats immediately attracted him and inspired his subsequent and denitive shift towards techno, within which he has since explored the breadth of the genre's 'deep' sound. Check out this artist. He can take you on a trip to the limit of your conscience. In 2012 he founded the BlackWallRecord (BWR) label with Yannick Pollien, at which point he took on the moniker "Tom Hagen".
